Ladan uses color to convey the energy of the model and the mood of the moment. Her paintings are spontaneous expressions of the feelings of the hour and the day.
Ladan started painting in oils when she was eleven and took lessons in a private studio for a few years. She continued to draw and paint for pleasure. Ladan has shown her work in Open Studio events in addition to Angelico.
Ladan's artwork has evolved from realistic classical oil paintings, mainly landscapes and portraits, to exploring moody portraits and recently she has also enjoyed painting abstracts.
Ladan is always open to new ideas and allows her inner guidance to lead her to the next discovery.
